Department of Revenue creates one-stop-shop; expanding services in KC Metro
Overland Park, Kan. - In 2018 the Kansas Department of Revenue opened its Driver's License location in the Rosana Shopping Center, 7600 W. 119th Street, to improve customer service for the metropolitan Kansas City area.
Now the agency is expanding services to offer a Tax Assistance Center to help Kansans answer personal or business tax questions and complete state tax filings without the need of going to Topeka.
"The Overland Park Tax Assistance Center and Driver's License Office is an asset to the agency and citizens of Johnson County," Revenue Secretary Mark Burghart said. "By adding the Tax Assistance Center, we are opening the door to a more citizen-centered experience."
The Overland Park Tax Assistance Center & Driver's License Office is open from 8am-4:45pm Monday- Friday. For the Tax Assistance Center, visitors can enter through the Suite A doors on the south side of the building. For Driver's Licenses, visitors can enter through the Suite D doors, located on the west side of the building.
