Q-Flow Wait Line Management System

Get in line online and skip the waiting room.

You can use your phones, computers or touch-screen kiosks located at the local facility to get in a virtual, mobile line with the Q-flow. The line management system eliminates the need to hang around a waiting room for your number to be called. Instead, the system will send a text alert to your mobile phone shortly before your number is called. The service is available at our offices in Mission, Olathe, Wyandotte, Andover, Wichita, Derby, Topeka and Manhattan. For the location and hours of each office, please click on the city closest to you.

Services in all 7 locations:

  • Renewals -- for license renewal, replacement, name or address changes
  • Originals -- for new original license issuance, upgrades, transfers
  • Concealed Carry Renewals -- Remember to bring your current Kansas driver's license or Kansas non-driver identification card and the approval notice from the Kansas Attorney General's office. If you have further questions, call 785-296-3963.

Driver Solutions Services in Wichita, Topeka and Mission Only

  • Pay reinstatement fees for all offenses except alcohol occurrences
  • Request copies of documents they have been sent
  • Request copy of driving record
  • Obtain a clearance letter
  • Obtain an application for modified driving privileges and have that application processed at the counter same day.
  • Get information on how to clear their record

Text Message

Customers can choose to send a text message to the management system which will issue them a “frozen” place in a virtual line. Customers must check in at the office with their CASE ID number issued in the text. Once a customer checks in their time starts from their “frozen” place in line. Shortly before their turn arrives, they will get a text from the system asking them to return to the license office. To enter the line using your cell phone, send a text indicating to 785-504-9019 with VTKfirstname lastname. The line only accepts text messages not voice calls.

Concealed Carry Renewals

If you are visiting our offices to get your concealed carry license card, please use one of these numbers to get in line. Remember to bring your current Kansas driver's license or Kansas non-driver identification card and the approval notice from the Kansas Attorney General's office.   • Legal Document of Name Change - if changing names (no photocopies)

  • Proof of Lawful Presence (U.S. birth certificate or valid U.S. passport; consular report of birth abroad issued by U.S. Dept. of State; U.S. Certificate of Citizenship; U.S. Certificate of Naturalization)

  • Proof of Social Security Number
  • Proof of Residential Address
